The county uses KnowBe4 for required cybersecurity awareness training and practice phishing emails. Training invitations and reminders from KnowBe4 are legitimate.
Complete your training
- Open the enrollment or reminder email from KnowBe4 and select the training link, or go to https://training.knowbe4.com.
- Sign in with your county email address if asked.
- Complete each assigned module by the due date. Your progress is saved if you need to stop and come back.
Not sure an email is really from KnowBe4?
Don't click it. Go to https://training.knowbe4.com by typing it into your browser. If you have training assigned, it will be listed there.
Practice phishing emails
- IT sends realistic practice phishing emails to help everyone learn to spot real ones.
- Report any suspicious email using the Phish Alert or Report button in Outlook. That's the right action for both real and practice phishing emails.
- If you clicked a practice email, you may be assigned a short follow-up training. That's normal.
The Phish Alert button is missing from Outlook
Close and reopen Outlook. If it's still missing, submit a ticket.
