If your monitors are black, show "No Signal," or aren't detected when you connect your laptop, check the connections and display settings first.
Check the basics
- Make sure each monitor is turned on (look for a power light).
- Check that the video cables are firmly connected at both ends, and that the dock's power adapter is plugged in.
- Use the monitor's buttons to confirm the right input is selected (HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C).
- Unplug the laptop from the dock, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in.
Check display settings
- Press Windows key + P and choose Extend.
- Right-click the desktop > Display settings. Scroll down to Multiple displays and select Detect.
- To change which screen is on the left or right, drag the numbered boxes at the top of Display settings to match your desk, then select Apply.
Reset the dock
- Unplug the laptop from the dock.
- Unplug the dock's power cable, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in.
- Plug the laptop back in and restart it while it's docked.
Distorted colors, flickering, or lines
Try a different cable or port if you have one. If the problem stays with one monitor, it may need to be replaced. Submit a ticket.
