Here's how to get toner and supplies, and what to do when a printer or copier needs repair.
Toner and supplies
Submit a ticket to request toner or supplies.
Include the printer's device ID or asset tag (usually on a sticker), its location, and the toner color needed.
"Call for Service" or an error code
- Write down the exact code on the screen (for example, L4-03).
- Turn the printer off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on. This clears some errors.
- If the message comes back, submit a ticket with the code, the device ID, and the location.
Streaks, lines, grinding noises, or repeated jams
Stop using the printer and submit a ticket with a photo or sample of the problem. These usually need a technician.
