Most county applications need access approved by your supervisor or the system's owner. When you need access or something isn't working, a ticket with the right details gets it done fastest.
Requesting access
Submit a ticket at https://unioncountyit.zendesk.gov/hc/requests/new and include:
- The application name (and the module or area, if you know it).
- What you need to do (for example, view reports, enter timesheets, approve purchase orders).
- Whether you need the same access as a coworker, and their name.
- Your supervisor's approval.
Locked out of an application
Many applications have their own passwords, separate from your county password. Use the Forgot password link on the application's sign-in page if there is one. If not, submit a ticket with the application name and your username.
Application-specific tips
- Compass (duplicates and merges): Submit one ticket per merge. Include the client/case ID for each record and which record should be kept. Do not include Social Security numbers.
- Compass Appointments crashing: Close it completely, make sure GlobalProtect is connected if you're remote, and reopen it. If it keeps crashing, include the time it happened in your ticket.
- Laserfiche: For access to a folder or repository, include the folder name or path. For forms, include the form name.
- Munis: Say whether you need Munis Self Service (timesheets, pay stubs) or the full Munis application.
- CureMD: For a locked account or practice PIN, submit a ticket with your CureMD username. For scanning into CureMD, include the scanner you're using.
- Power BI: Include the report or dashboard name, and the workspace if you know it. A Power BI license may be required.
Something isn't working
Include a screenshot of the error (press Windows key + Shift + S to capture one), what you were doing, and whether coworkers have the same problem. If a whole system is down for everyone, call the Help Desk at (704) 283-3834 x5000.
