Outlook Not Opening

Sometimes Microsoft Outlook may fail to start or close unexpectedly.

Step 1 – Restart Your Computer

Restarting your computer often resolves the issue.

Step 2 – Try Opening Outlook Again

1. Click the Start Menu

2. Search for Outlook

3. Click Outlook

Step 3 – Run Outlook in Safe Mode

1. Press:

Windows + R

2. Type:

outlook.exe /safe

3. Click OK

Step 4 – Contact IT

If Outlook still does not open, contact the IT Helpdesk.
