Build your own agent with Microsoft 365 Copilot

Agents extend the capabilities of Microsoft 365 Copilot by letting you customize your Copilot experience to fit your specific needs. But you don't need coding skills or advanced technical training to build an agent. Agent builder in Microsoft 365 Copilot helps you create powerful and personalized agents in just a few minutes. Ready to get started?

Build your agent using a prompt

1. Open the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
2. Select Agents > Create Agent.
3. Describe what you want the agent to do and then click Send . For example:

   Help me create a detailed career development plan based on my current role and future goals.

4. Follow the prompts to create your agent.

Build your agent using a template

1. Browse to the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
2. Select Agents > Create Agent.
3. Select a template from the list.

   

4. One the right side of the screen, select one of the suggestions to test or chat with your agent and press Send .

   

5. If you want to customize your agent, select Configure.
6. When satisfied, select Create.
